The hostel is conveniently located near Central Park, making it easy to explore the area. However, the rooms felt cramped and not well-maintained, which was disappointing. The breakfast was minimal, and the overall service left much to be desired, especially during emergencies. It's a mixed bag, making it hard to recommend wholeheartedly.

5.4/10

My experience at this hostel was quite mixed. On the positive side, I really enjoyed the excellent location near Central Park and the friendly atmosphere created by the events and activities organized by the staff. However, the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms and the issues with booking and service left much to be desired. Overall, while the price was affordable, I would consider other options for my next stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was a basic private room with one bunk bed, and it was on the fifth floor with no elevator, which was a hassle. The room was okay but lacked some basic amenities.
Service

The service was inconsistent; while some staff members were friendly and helpful, I experienced issues with my booking and the staff putting someone else in my bed during my stay, which is unacceptable.

The hostel is excellently located just a five-minute walk from the 103rd Street subway station and right next to Central Park, making it easy to explore the city.

I had a mixed experience at the hostel. While the proximity to Central Park was a nice perk and the staff was friendly, I faced issues like a lack of hot water and bedding problems. Additionally, the breakfast options were quite limited, which was disappointing given the price I paid.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was basic but not particularly comfortable, with unclean bedding. It was meant to be shared with another guest, but that arrangement didn't work out very well.

The location near Central Park was absolutely fantastic and made it easier to explore the area, though accessing other parts of the city required some effort.
Dining

I found the breakfast to be quite sad – just a donut and a cup of coffee. It's not enough to start the day right.
Facilities

Facilities were quite lacking, with the absence of adequate kitchen supplies. The showers also left much to be desired in terms of temperature control.

7.0/10

The hostel is located in a prime area, just steps from Central Park, which is fantastic for outdoor enthusiasts. While I enjoyed the vibrant community vibe and the social activities organized by the staff, the room I stayed in was quite noisy, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, I found the Wi-Fi unavailable in the bedrooms quite inconvenient. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if you’re looking for affordability, but you may encounter a few drawbacks during your stay.

Rooms

The room was small and quite noisy, which made it difficult to relax. It would benefit from better sound insulation.

5.8/10

The hostel boasts a great location, just a stone's throw from Central Park and conveniently close to the subway. While I found the rooms to be generally clean, they lacked a bit of comfort and amenities. The social atmosphere was disappointing as there were limited activities to engage with other travelers, which is often what you look for in a hostel experience. Overall, the price reflects the NYC market, but I believe there are better hostel options available.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were generally clean, but felt poorly equipped and slightly uncomfortable, making it not ideal for a longer stay.
Service
5.0
The service was a mix; while some staff members tried their best, the bar was often unstaffed and activities were minimal.
Location

The facilities were lacking, with no kitchen for proper cooking and minimal entertainment options offered.
